Karitè - olio

L'olio di karitè si ottiene frazionando il burro, cioè togliendo una parte di trigliceridi con il punto di fusione più alto. Restando i trigliceridi con punto di fusione più basso il prodotto si presenta oleoso. Nell'operazione di frazionamento viene persa una quota di insaponificabili, ma l'olio resta un prodotto superidratante e nutriente; può essere usato sulla pelle del viso e del corpo ma anche sui capelli . E' adatto ad ogni tipo di pelle, anche quella grassa o mista. Laddove il burro è meglio su zone circoscritte come labbra, gomiti, contorno occhi, piedi, unghie, l'olio va benissimo sul corpo dopo la doccia, come doposole, per proteggere i capelli in spiaggia o in piscina, oppure come impacco pre-shampoo.L'olio di karitè, applicato sul viso e sul corpo, nutre la pelle combattendo la formazione di rughe e idratando la cute molto secca.
